Community Awareness Team for Teens

C.A.T.T., or Community Awareness Team for Teens is a program that focuses on involving teens in community service throughout Arlington. C.A.T.T. is a student- run organization. We are based in Arlington and involve teens from almost every high school in the county. Our goal is to raise awareness about community service opportunities and broadcast this information to teenagers. We hope that through our program, teenagers will enjoy community service and become more involved in Arlington while meeting new people who share their same interests. Our job is to do the research and seek out volunteer opportunities so teenagers can easily find fun ways to volunteer and help with non-profits.

We hope that CATT will grow in the next few years, becoming a useful tool for finding volunteer opportunities. We hope to participate in outreach programs and service projects through many Arlington non-profit organizations.
